Sharing trends and information about the local real estate market and general information about our great community, including year-round healthy outdoor recreation. El Dorado County California, and more specifically the Sierra Nevada west slope communities, are a wonderful place to live. I primarily serve El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Placerville and Folsom, but I play in Lake Tahoe, the foothills and the Sacramento valley.

Doing a Remodel? Consider Donating Your Used Materials
The economy has been good and we are seeing a lot of money going into updating and remodeling homes. It bothers me to see how much perfectly good material is sent to our land fills so when I came across across this article, I decided to share it in hopes of getting the word out.
When we did our major remodel in Shingle Springs in 2008, we donated windows and all sorts of items to the ReStore Habitat for Humanity center in Placerville. http://edchabitat.org/restore/
They were happy to come out with their truck and pick everything up making disposal of the demolition materials easy and convenient!
